อารมณ์ของสมถกรรมฐานนี้ ถ้าไม่ถูกจริตของเรา มันก็ไม่สลด ไม่สังเวช อันใดที่ถูกกับจริต
อันนั้นก็จะประสบบ่อยๆ มีความรู้สึกนึกคิดในอาการนั้นบ่อยๆ แต่เราไม่ค่อยจะได้สังเกต จึงควร
สังเกตเพื่อให้ได้ประโยชน์ เปรียบเหมือนกับอาหาร ที่เขาจัดมาให้สำรับหนึ่ง มันก็มีหลายอย่าง
เราก็ชิมไปทุกถ้วยทุกอย่าง
นั่นแหละ แล้วก็จะรู้เองว่า อาหารอย่างไหนที่เราชอบ อย่างไหนที่เราไม่ชอบอย่างไหนชอบ
ก็ว่ามีรสชาติอร่อยกว่าอย่างอื่น นี่พูดถึงอาหารนี่ก็เทียบให้เห็นกับจริตของคนเรา กรรมฐานที่ถูก
กับจริต มันก็สบาย
